I don’t even know if “Sigmund” is the actual name of Cade’s bearded dragon.  All I know is that he is kept away whenever Nonnie is around, and I am usually at their house when Nonnie is, so we don’t see the little creature very often.  But this past Friday, the Brockbanks were out of school, and I saw a great opportunity for a cousin day.  So we headed down and had a good time as always!
Mid day, Cade brought Sigmund down, and the kids were fascinated.

Well, let me be honest and say that Icka was fascinated.  It started off with me holding him, and she was petting him without qualms.

Then she got really brave and held him.  I didn’t get the picture, but she went in for the kiss multiple times, and  “S” kept licking her.  She was cracking up and kept saying, “He yicked my face, he yicked my face!”

I guess Scout wasn’t interested in getting shown up by his little sis, and he braved up and put S on his shirt.  Doesn’t his very nervous face say it all!  (He actually got talked into it because he was wearing a dragon shirt, and S is a dragon.)

Maybe Scout’s nervousness was contagious, because when I put S on Icka’s shoulder, she wasn’t too sure about it.  I really wanted to put him on her head, but I feared for little S’s life.
