When it gets too quiet in my house, my kids are either napping or getting into trouble. After I finished getting ready this morning, I was putting laundry in and noticed the sudden silence. After calling out for the kids and nobody responded….I started looking for the hooligans.
When I walked up to Scout, this is the return look I got:
He knew he was caught, so he started explaining. According to him, “I was just getting some powder on my face to look pretty like you.” Nice charm, but he knows he isn’t supposed to be in my makeup.
He had the technique down, minus putting powder all over his back.
I told him that makeup is pretty, but it is only for girls. Then to illustrate it in his mind, I said, “You never see Daddy putting powder on…do you?” I was taken back a little when he answered, “Yeah…..I do.”
I was going to take the blame for this one, but it looks like Micah is responsible.
