This is a picture from Chuck E. Cheeses, and hopefully it gets my point across.  My girl is crazy!  She is not a bad baby, in fact, she is pretty happy.  She is just a crazy….never stop for a second….not afraid of anything baby.  She can squirm out of any sort of safety belt — the highchair, the top part of her car seat, her stroller, Chuck E. Cheeses rides.  She climbs everything, and follows her brother anywhere. She can swipe anything out of Scout’s hands before he even knows what is happening.  She won’t keep a bow in her hair for anything.  I have told her “no no” thousands of times, and even smacked her hand to tell her not to pull it (blame Trilby — it was her tip).  (I attempted the bow thing again the other day at Ralphs, but after I counted 25 times of her ripping out her bow, I gave up.)

Just yesterday, I was bathing the two kids, and as I was getting Scout’s diaper on in the hall….guess what little sumo wrestler look alike comes walking out of the bathroom door.   Navy baby climbed out of the bath all by herself.  Don’t ask me how she did it without getting hurt, because I don’t know.  All I know is that when I used to leave Scout with anyone, I never worried a bit.  But when I leave Navy, I am so worried of anyone taking their eyes off her for a moment, what will happen.  She was already returned to us after she got outside of a store when Micah was watching her.  And I do NOT exaggerate when I say that he probably knew where she was 3 seconds before.  Our quick and agile and crazy little thing better turn out to be the best female NFL kicker, so this was all totally worth it.  But who am I kidding…. when she sleeps with me and wakes me up by giving me dozens of kisses….it is all worth it.
