This kid is a total charmer. Definitely in the sense of him saying things that are cute and charming. But what I am really talking about is the kind of “charm” that is on the sly. Already at 2 years old, you know this kid is going to know how to work his magic to get things in life. Like last night, BKaNayNay were leaving. As they drove off, he was calling out, “bye” as he waved. When they got to the end of the cul-de-sac and turned around, they rolled down their windows to say goodbye one last time. Scout lifted his arms in the air like an evangelist and said, “goodbye….have a bootiful day!” They were dying.
I remember in a letter that Micah wrote me years ago, he told me I was charming, and I took it as one of my favorite compliments ever. I am glad to pass the compliment on to my boy who definitely inherited the gene.
Sidenote: If things ever go south for him, he could definitely have a career with snakes.
