An interesting side note to having Navy is….I am even more in love with Scout. As I watch him constantly call out “Angyels”, kiss her nonstop, sing little songs to her (even when I haven’t asked him to), climb next to her wherever she is and sometimes fix her bow, give up one of his favorite blankets for her (it was hers to begin with, but she wasn’t born yet, and it became one of his favorites in the meantime), not get jealous of her, etc., it makes me fall madder in love with him…..and her. I hope they are starting to develp a special little bond already.
Speaking of “in love”….. Micah asked me the other day, “Hey babe….Valentine’s day is coming up really soon. I can’t remember what I am supposed to do on this holiday. Can you remind me.” How classic is that! He makes me sound high maintenance. My answer was simple. I told him that all I ever want is a love letter for me and any girls he has. So starting this year we are both on double duty — he is in charge of me and Navy, and I will cover him and Scout. Easy Peasy Japoneasy!
