Competition season is back in action, and it started with the infamous pumpkin carving contest. There were three catergories…..originality, creativity and presentation. Micah teamed up with Skylar, and Calin was my partner. (I don’t want to brag, but they were both trying to get on my team - and you will soon learn why!) We had one and a half hours to complete our pumpkin (or in my case…three pumpkins), and then we needed to “present” them to the judges. (Mom and Trilby) Afterwards they are judged and the winner gets one point, and the first team to get 5 points overall, is the winner of the series. Micah claims he won the series last year, but I don’t have a clear memory of that. But the competition has begun which means Skylar has become a little trash talker, Calin is catching up on missed Martha Stewart episodes, Micah’s moods change with every loss he receives, and I am constantly nice and happy. Take a look at the following pumpkins, and try and guess which one won…..(it shouldn’t be that hard)

They didn’t come up with a name, so I will name it, “Stars, Stars Everywhere…..” (because it is only the same little star over and over) (and who cares if they used a jewel in the middle of each of them, it still is kind of boring, unless you like StarWars or something)
And the Winner is…………..”A Boy And His Dog!”
