Poor little Micah! About half way through my pregnancy, my feet started to ache every morning when I would get out of bed. I thought it would have eventually gone away, but since I had the baby, it has only been worse. I finally went to see my foot doctor…and got the best news ever. Apparently, I have post partum ??? (can’t remember the name, but it sounded fancy) During pregnancy the hormone that relaxes all of the bones, can sometimes relax and irritate the bones in the balls of the feet. A few months after I am done nursing, all should be back to normal, but in the meantime…..what can I do about it you ask??? Well, I can opt for physical therapy - but we all know I probably won’t “opt”. I can take a daily antiinflammatory - but since I HATE to take pills because I am the “side effect queen” don’t count on it. Lastly, Dr. Cachia told me of the best solution I have ever heard! He prescribed a DAILY FOOT RUB! He said it only needs to be about ten minutes per foot, preferably before I get out of bed!
When I called Micah and told him the good news, he said “I don’t believe you”. I said, “I have the paper to prove it.” He said, “I don’t doubt you have the paper, I just don’t believe that he really prescribed it.” I said, “Well believe it, and feel free to call him and ask if you need to know for sure.” He said, “Maybe I will.” (Knowing full well that there isn’t a chance in the world he will.) I sang, “How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You…….Yes It Is Baby….. (repeat)”.

First off, I loves James Taylor, so thanks for the song. Second off (ha ha), I don’t blame Micah for his disbelief. If Jim came home with those doctor’s orders, I think I would tell him to go jump! But hey, you can’t argue with the professionals at Aloha Foot and Ankle Associates (Seriously, what kind of name is that? It’s no wonder they prescribe foot rubs as treament with a name like that!).

AZ — I see your point. I was skeptical at first too, but about 8 years ago I had a foot problem that nobody could fix. After 5 doctors, I went to see the aloha boys, and they figured out the problem, and within a month I was good to go. So…shaka!

I told Shem and he said, “yeah right, where did she steal the paper from?”
