On Sunday we went to visit Great Grandma. She hadn’t been eating or drinking for a couple of days and she wasn’t communicating anymore. She was just in a peaceful rest. Kelsi was there with my mom, Aunty Gail, and Grandma and Grandpa. Kelsi just got back from two years in Guatemala with the Peace Corps.
We hung out for a couple of hours and then Lindsey and I left for dinner. My aunties and uncles and cousins all showed up just after we left. While everybody was there, Great Grandma died. She just stopped breathing. I guess she was finally comfortable that everybody would be ok without her. How amazing to make it to 95!
