What may look like a movie star walking regally in her gown with a train that follows — is actually my teeny Pips wrapped up in her massive “nightnight”.
It is so big and bold, it is comical!
But she has to have her “nightnight” second skin for at least the first two hours she is awake each morning.
Navy loves hanging with Doey.
Especially when Doey makes them into twinners!
You know life is good when you run out of diapers downstairs — minus the rogue three newborn diapers that were left over — and your daughter can still sport them!
You know life is not so good when you forget to put a bigger size on her when she goes to bed — and the sheets have to head into the washer immediately.
Rad and Bad.
I am not sure what and how much Pippi knows in life — but this thing I know she knows for sure.
The wheels on the bus go round and round!
I promise this is limited to about 20 minutes a day, but her love of nursery rhymes has no boundaries!
You know what they say….when it rains, it pours.
Today:
Dash was naughty and would not do his simple cleaning job before school. I gave him about 6 opportunities to do it, and then told him he would not be going to school until he did his complete job, 100% properly. We arrived at school 35 minutes late. But I will tell you that when he finally decided to do his job, it was definitely a 100%, A+ job.

I went to go get my gift card wallet out of the middle console of my car, and when I grabbed it, it was completely empty. It was only last week that I used it, and it is full of my gift cards, I.D., and one credit card. It was burried under a stack of DVD’s, and a bunch of other stuff, so whoever took them really had to search them out. Luckily I caught it today, so I have been able to retrace my steps. The only conclusion I can think of is the guys at the car wash I was at Saturday morning. There is literally no other time that anyone had access. And the kicker — whoever did it left my old driver’s license. Talk about maddening! So I had to go to the car wash to go over that this afternoon.

The day went on and on….but it was all too frustrating to me - so I have erased it from my memory.
Because tomorrow….is a new day!
Just Scout and a few buddies under the Friday night Lights.
I think I love basketball the most, but this is a close second.
Anything that doesn’t require sunscreen and snacks after the game is at the top of my list!
Ka invited Navy to join her and Nick to the Dana game tonight.
The theme was America — and clearly these three got it just right!
We had a huge storm that put tons of eucalyptus leaves in our pool. So I told the kids if they wanted to jump in and clean it out — they could also play in the pool for an hour.
It was moments late that they were all in their skivvies — and pool cleaning.
And since things were so casual — like they didn’t have to go inside and put swimsuits on, Dash didn’t think he had to go inside to use the facilities either.?.
Navy dominated!
Of course she was the best cleaner!
And she worked like a dog and loved every second of it.
The boys worked like dogs for about 4 minutes.
And then Scout was perfecting his armpit gas ball sounds.
While Dash was perfecting his surfing stance.

You’ll never guess who got the single ice cream allotted to the best cleaner.
ALL DAY EVERY DAY, this girl wants BBBUUUUUUSSSSSS!!!
So sometimes her singing along gets to me, and I oblige.
Just a little treat from Britni was sitting on my counter when I got home today.
Only the four brightest, cutest lunch bags I have ever seen!
Brit — you did right by me.
I love how we can always do nice things for each other — like the time I surprised you with a fun night of camping in your backyard!
