Dash told me that Rudolph is his second favorite reindeer.
Poor Rudolph … It must be tough to compete against a reindeer named after this cute boy.
Dasher will always be number one in this family’s book!
Christmas shopping with Pippi is a blast.
She runs from thing to thing, and gets the full experience out of it all.
She gave me a thumbs up on Santa’s train.
She rowed her boat all the way to the North Pole.
She experienced the “Sounds of the Season”.
And of course, she rode her favorite reindeer — Dasher!
I asked Dash this morning if he was always going to take care of me.
He said he would.
But then I asked him how he would take care of me.
He said, “I will always take care of you, by loving you.”
He is definitely me favorite today.
Mwah Mwah Mwah.
Somehow, we all packed into one car this year, for our annual light-looking night.
We hit up one of our San Juan favorites.
Where Scout and Royal discussed the upcoming Star Wars at length.
Then we hit a new Ladera favorite, where there is “real” snow coming down!
It’s snow that cleans as it falls!
We ended our night with caroling at Trilby’s house, where she was completely surprised and happy.
She even made them carol to some of her neighbors!
I have had matching boys for years, and I love it.
But matching my girls has been an uphill battle, because Pippi is just getting into the big enough sizes that Navy is growing out of.
But the great news for me this Sabbath day, is that when Nonnie and I found this cute dress for Navy…
There was the same dress in Pippi’s size!
And I can salute to that.
Now that we are officially a family of six, I bought our stockings!
I love them, the kids love them, and when Nonnie gets hers for a Christmas present — she is going to love hers too!
(By the way — doesn’t Micah do a nice job hanging them so evenly!?
The poor guy is going to have a fit when there is a seventh added to the bunch.
Pippi is a pusher.
Today she was pushing her “hot chocolate”.
Then she was pushing her styling expertise.
But of all the things she pushes, she most often pushes the boundaries.
Like when her “hot chocolate” is cups with real water — which is forbidden outside the kitchen.
Auntie Bree got Pippi the greatest birthday present.
She got her own cake mix, cupcake liners, and frosting.
Talk about a little girl’s dream!
And the fact that she was baking with her dad made it even better!
And the most awesome part, is that dad doesn’t care all that much about manners!
That would be D-R-O-N-E.
Santa, Dash wants a drone.
Pippi was cracking up, and made me look at some guy’s plumber’s crack about ten times.
It only got embarrassing, when he turned around and readjusted his waistline while looking in Pippi’s direction.
Good thing I am pretty sure he thought I was taking a picture of her in her princess dress.
