Scout never really spit up. Navy is really into it. So my solution is to have her in a bib for about an hour after she eats from this point forward. I especially like this little one that turns my little thing into a flower.

Calin thinks “what is mine is [hers]”, so when she left her recent essay on my computer, I thought “what is [hers] is mine”! When I came across this I was cracking up, but I was also impressed at how big she thinks. So enjoy this classic piece of literature….

Eleven years from now, in the year 2020, I see myself just all around enjoying life. I have always pictured myself owning a few homes all across the globe. Maybe a house on the beach in California, or a vacation home in Costa Rica, and definitely a large house in London. I will be married to Nick Jonas, and we have two girls. Their names are Bella and Lucky. I have a great deal of money, since my husband is famous. He still is in a band with his brothers (called the Jonas Brothers) and they are the most famous they have ever been. When he goes on tour every summer, I get to go along with him.
I still have the same friends I met in 6th grade. Their names are Mckenna and Chloe. Mckenna is currently living in a beach house in California. She is married to her husband Brian, and they have three kids. Also, Chloe has married her husband Zac Efron and are living in Hollywood. He is an actor and she dances in a lot of his movies. Chloe and Zac also have five kids. I love the summertime because on tour with Nick, my friends come to the concerts with their kids, and it is always a lot of fun. Also, my cousin Summer is married to Joe Jonas, and we get to spend the summers together whilst on tour.
I graduated Brigham Young University three years ago in 2017. I graduated with a major in fashion, and just last year I established my own clothing company. It’s called Rose Clothing and Design. It’s a company for teens, and my company has just recently gone global. I have also designed clothes for artists and actresses such as the Pussycat Dolls, Taylor Swift, Brittany Spears, and Jennifer Aniston. I also have been in a few music videos for many bands, since I am an extremely accomplished guitarist. In the little spare time I get, my hobby is flying on my private jet to the beautiful, historic cities the world has to offer. In fact, just the other day while the kids were at school, Nick and I flew to Rome for lunch. In conclusion, I will be very much enjoying myself in the year 2020.
Wow — she has some pretty big shoes to fill. I must look like a total loser to her!
Navy’s blue eyes just might be turning a touch green. More than likely they will end up the same color of Scout’s — a milk chocolate brown –but at the moment, they are grey/blue with a bit of green. Must of been Ireland’s influence.
Scout and Navy both get the award for Best Traveler! Navy was literally perfect, and never made a peep. She adjusted to the time change flawlessly and never complained about being hauled in and out of her car seat/stroller a bazillion times a day. I just swaddled her, and she was good to go.
Scout was probably not quite as flawless, but he was easily as good on a pound for pound scale. We were worried about traveling with an almost two year old, but he certainly exceeded our expectations. He was perfect all day long — literally perfect. At nights, he got a little hyper when his body wasn’t feeling the whole “time for bed” thing. But thanks to Daddy, and his stories about dogs, bears and bad guys, Scout would finally snooze. Another cheer goes to Micah who sat with Scout on every leg of the flight. It wasn’t that Scout was at all bad…..he was just in constant need of entertainment. Thanks to Micah and my bag of tricks I packed for him….Scout was pretty great. In fact, every time we were getting off the plane, many people commented on how good our kids were. Thank goodness!
It is amazing how much loot is need when you have two kids with you. Thank goodness I never bring port-a-cribs!
(And this is after we gave one of the strollers away!)
Although Scout was nearly perfect on the trip, he did have a few shining moments. Like the time when we were in the Atlanta airport and he just got curious and pulled the alarm handle. The alarm was only loud enough for everyone in that particular terminal to hear. I wasn’t about to snap a shot until my mom insisted. Talk about dirty looks!
Or the time when I lost Scout in a department store and was looking everywhere as I called out his name. Five minutes later, he leisurely walks around the corner with a tasty treat of melted ice cream. He was chomping away as his dad kept repeating “Sick! That is Disgusting!”. I guess used ice cream is better than the used ear plug he found on the ground of the airplane he thought was candy. It wasn’t until I made him spit it out in my hand that I discovered the nastiest thing I could ever dream up.
Or how about when Scout would get some change to put in street performer’s hats, and he thought it was all about retrieving more money. My mom had to explain the rules of giving money, but Scout was more interested in filling up his piggy bank at home.
