Micah is in a time crunch with a house he is flipping, so he asked for our help. I thought he was INSANE to ask for Dash and Pippi’s help, but Scout and Navy and I must have been worth it — and we are a package deal.
We headed to L.A. for the day, and got to work.
Scout and Navy worked and worked. I am talking for hours and hours.
There were times that Micah was a little frustrated by the caliber of work being done. I quote, “It seems like you guys are just moving dirt around!” But doesn’t he know “you get what you pay for”. Did I mention they were not getting paid!
Everyone really tried hard to get through a long list of things that needed to be done, and by the end of the day, there was some decent headway.

Now for Dash and Pippi.
Dash was hot or cold. He would get a little adrenaline rush, and crank out a task for ten minutes before he saw a place to practice his headstands.
Pippi was a different story.
She was a pretty lousy worker the whole time. Until I finally found her in a room by herself singing at the top of her lungs the songs from Cinderella. When she realized that she could be the working Cinderella with the mean stepsisters, she started working really hard. I took a picture of her from outside the house, and she just carried on. I was actually proud of her efforts.
But Micah thought the gallons of water on his new hardwood floors was a horrible idea, and that even GusGus and the Fairy Godmother weren’t reason enough to have to replace his new floors!
Next stop for Pippi was the car, where she sat in there in disgust over the “meanest guy ever” who ruined her fantasy!
