Navy is getting more and more inventive with my hair. As much as I love to see her creative side….what I really love is the feeling of my hair getting played with for 30 minutes! Nice work Navy…you are getting better and better.

Playing With The Big Boys
While watching Micah’s soccer game, I turned around to see the cutest/saddest/sweetest scene I have ever seen. Dash saw a group of 12-13 year olds playing a game of football. He wanted to play, but was clearly too small. That didn’t stop him. As the big boys played, he stood on the side, with his arms in the air…trying to get them to throw the ball his way.
He jumped up and down, trying to get the ball…and he never did.
My heart kind of melted.
But when Dash came back, he just said, “Mom!!! I was over with those kids playing football. One time the ball landed by me, and I got to throw it back to them.”
Is that not the sweetest thing you have ever heard?
He is the stinking cutest boy on earth.
Easter
The greatest thing happened this year for Easter…it is on April Fool’s Day!!!
In honor of the day, I filled their baskets with a banana, an orange, a fig newton, and some nuts.
When they spent all morning looking for them, they were so bummed when they found them!
Navy was on to us, and said it was for sure an April’s Fool thing…but we let it play out for a while.
They finally found their stuffed eggs this year, when we sent them to Nonnie’s car on an errand!
They were very excited to see some better loot in the eggs!
After Easter in the morning (which was Conference this year!), we obviously headed up to the Brockbanks.
Where hundreds of eggs were hidden for these jokers.
(Pippi was up with Tristen, getting her own sweet basket!)
