ALL I CAN SAY IS HALLELUJAH!!!!!!!
Poor Navy is still battling her hives.
I see her itch herself constantly…but she never complains — EVER.
She just asked to go swimming when she gets home, because she says her hives feel the best in the cold water of the pool.
Poor thing who is such a trooper.
It was a good year for Dash (minus the two times Micah almost got me in trouble with the Child Protective Services).
It was a good year for Navy (who despite her ailment…dominated to good grades.)
And it was a good year for (too cool) Scout — who refused a picture with his teachers.
In his defense — school was already out, and he wasn’t about to walk back on campus for a lame picture.
I don’t blame him!
See you later Bergeson….and I am sure it will be too soon when we do!
This little one has been picking books off the shelf lately, and singing them to me.
This one was a mix of “You are My Sunshine” with “This Little Light of Mine”.
Our little book sessions are my favorite.
Navy may have denied hitting Scout hard.
Then she got in the shower as quickly as she ever has.
Too bad her hand mark showed up while she was rinsing off…
because when she got out…she was dead meat.
Not only for the hand mark evidence — but for the smug smile she had while everything was proving her wrong!
Straight to bed Navy!
Shaved Ice is a new favorite around here!
My mom get a rad shaved ice maker, and Micah is the perfect shaved icee maker.
At least Britni approves!
As do all of the little chitlins in the hot tub.
Yet another Ward Olympics is in the books.
Scout had some buddies helping him through the 5K.
Navy did surprisingly well in her heat — 2nd place.
Dash obviously lived up to his name and got first.
And after Pips won her race — she hung out with her best buddy…Hansen Jon of course.
Don’t think, that because Pippi is only three, that she isn’t responsible.
When she was at Auggies today, and she spilled water…she immediately went over to a tissue box, and started wiping up her mess. Maybe the tissue disintegrating all over the water made it worse, but I applauded her for her efforts.
Good job Pips.
Pippi is hilarious.
Her prayers lately, are pure comedy.
Tonight’s prayer included, “I love everyone in the world. And that blows me away.”
And after prayers, she decided to play a round of “Spotlight”. Her new obsession is the “spotlight” during primary. Every single week she wants it to be her — and is devastated each week when it isn’t her. But at home, she is in charge, and she has everyone stand up. Then she has everyone sit who is wearing blue. Then those who are wearing shoes must sit. Then she narrows it down to one person. Tonight, Scout was the spotlight. When he went up, she interviewed him the way they do at church. She is legitimately the most observant girl. And she is down right hilarious.
Pippi — you are the perfect entertainer for each of us every night!
Since we have four of our own…I guess I shouldn’t be surprised at Micah’s ability with babies.
He is an absolute natural.
This girl insisted on wearing a farm outfit because she was going to the farm.
So we put her in a flannel and some overalls, and she played the part well.
I’m just glad that when we went to lunch at a Mexican restaurant afterwards, she didn’t ask me for a sombrero to wear.
Scout woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning, so he was sent back to bed for a while.
In order for him to get out, he needed to give everyone in the room a speech about why you should have a good attitude.
His speech was awful.
He got a D-.
But his cleverness and ability to speak in front of a crowd got him out of his bedroom.
(And his laughing at his punishment that proved he was having a good attitude, helped.)
