Wednesdays are a favorite day for my kids.
They get tennis with their buddies…and then usually earn Harbor Pizza after!
It’s my favorite weekday too.
The cleaners come, and Harbor Pizza keeps the mess out of my kitchen!

Valentine’s Box
In honor of tradition — Navy wanted a rad Valentine box. We thought and thought about it. We had a few ideas, but when we were walking the dollar store, and saw these flower-shaped bowls, we thought flowerpot.
Here is Micah putting the finishing touches on it…
And here is the final product!
Navy was in love — and the Valentines had a perfect home in the top flower.
Even though she was acting coy while taking it in to school, she was actually so stoked to be taking in such a masterpiece!

Scout’s Bed
When both of the coveted spots in Nonnie’s bed are taken, the next best thing is the open spot in Scout’s bed.
Somehow this little twerp got out of her tent in the middle of the night, and ended up right next to her big brother.
I was all for it, until the morning time when Pippi got up when Scout was heading off to school — two hours earlier than usual.
Book Finders
I’m not sure what I think is cuter — my two underwear-wearing book finders.
Or my books that are miraculously still color coordinated.
Daddy With Daddy
Nothing is better than Daddy with Daddy.
As happy as it makes Pippi, it makes me even happier!
The giggling kind of happy.
Pippi’s Lips
Of all of Pippi’s features, I think her lips might be my favorite. They are big and full, and the perfect rose color.
They also have almost acrobatic abilities as she talks over those buck teeth of hers.
They are also the reason she stands in the corner a decent amount.

Harbor Date
When I invited Micah down to the harbor for a walking date, I am pretty sure Pippi thought that she was the one on the date.
I mean — when else do you get Micah’s complete attention?
I was so excited…but Pippi was on to my trick, and literally took it as her opportunity to talk his ear off the whole time.
Lucky her — but honestly…luckier him!
Tennis Freeze
When the tennis lessons are one degree above freezing, it’s time to pull out the remedy that cures all.
It’s called the “BYU” - pronounced “byoooh”.
When she is sick, the BYU comforts her.
When she is tired, the BYU lulls her.
And in this case, when she is tired, it warms her.
Basically — it is the modern day version of her Nigh-Night.
Slapped
The claim was “I barely even touched her”.
My tough girl has definitely been dramatic lately — 8 year old hormones I’m guessing.
But her cry was one of a girl in pain.
Scout claimed he barely touched her, so it was time for my due diligence work.
I told Scout I had a picture…and whatever the picture showed would be evidence of the “touch”.
He then had the opportunity to come clean with an apology if he thought it was necessary…but this was all his choice.
The catch — if the picture proved otherwise, he would be in trouble for hitting and lying.
You would not believe who almost immediately tucked his tail between his legs for a quick apology.

The next catch — he still got in trouble for even “touching” a girl!
