This isn’t your typical flower girl.
But she is the spunkiest flower girl.
Hard Sleeping
When this girl finally sleeps, she sleeps hard.
And even after I get her up, she takes a few minutes to get up and going.
Dressed to the Nines
I put Pippi down for a nap.
Thirty minutes later, she showed up dressed like she was going somewhere pretty special.
She was in a closet in her bed, and she came out with everything she could get her hands on in that closet!
And then when I wanted to take a picture, she tried to act coy.

Dash’s Friends
Yesterday, Dash came home with this school assignment.
I was glad to see that he has met a new friend.
But when I showed it to Pippi, she insisted on picking Dash up today, and then claimed her territory!
Japanese Beetle
You have never heard the kids laugh harder, than when I screamed bloody murder after discovering a Japanese Beetle on my wrist while driving!
Big Girl Pants
Guess who is wearing her big girl’s pants?!?!
Let’s put it this way.
She is completely potty trained.
She has gone potty and poop on the toilet.
She has given fair warnings when she needs to, and been completely successful.
But today, when she didn’t want to take a nap, she “mistakenly” had an accident.
YEAH RIGHT!
This girl is the queen in potty-training manipulation!
But she manipulated me, because I called Micah to tell him….”Buy more diapers in size 3, because I’m not cleaning up intentional messes”!
She will potty train when she wants to be in big girl pants enough!
I’m sure of it.
Shoes and Socks
I’m not sure what Pippi’s obsession is with her brother’s shoes and socks is.
But every single day, she has a new pair of socks on, with a pair of too-big-for-her shoes.
Vitamin Dash
The last few days, Dash has given himself a very important job.
He spends about 15 minutes after he wakes up, opening the four different vitamin bottles that the kids take.
He sets four piles of four gummies each, and prides himself on giving the girls the pink ones, and the boys the yellow ones.
And this morning, he took it a step forward.
He brought me my prenatal vitamin that I take each day!
He even brought it in water, because he knows I take it with water…and he said he wanted to make it easy for me!

Bay Blades
Dash is my toy boy. He loves every kind, but especially cars. He could play with his cars for hours. But today, he discovered Bay Blades. And his cars took a seat on the back burner all day. And all I heard to day was, “Bay Blade, Bay Blade….let ‘er RIP!!!” And then about 45 seconds later, there was major celebrations because his Bay Blade went extra long, or defeated Scout’s Bay Blade!
