Bella and Jon were here to ring in the New Year with us this year!
It was a night at Macaroni Grill for dinner, then a New York countdown followed by celebrating in the street….and then…
we hit up the Marriott for an evening of swimming!
2015 is out.
2016 is in!
I spent the afternoon on Tristen’s baby shower invites.
With how cute they turned out, I will shamelessly pat myself on the back!
But can you blame me?
Here are two older cousins, teaching one younger cousin what they know best….
puckered lips and Snapchat!
EMBARRASSING!
For church today, we put Pippi in my old dress.
She was so stinking cute in it, that I had to snap a picture.
That picture was almost impossible to get.

Because this girl is a mile a minute!
But pure entertainment to watch!
Thank goodness she has siblings that adore her every move!
Nathan is in town, so Scout was able to get some piano tips from the piano master!
It was cute to see Scout digesting the things Nathan said, and even cuter to see Scout showing off for him.
Nathan was genuinely surprised at how accomplished Scout is, for having taken piano for such a short amount of time.
I’ll admit that we all think Scout has the knack for piano — which is kind of exciting.
The best day of the year has come and gone.
And this year, my pictures are limited because only one in every ten weren’t too blurry.
I guess I should have been asking for a new lens for Christmas!
The morning started out with stuffed stocking from the kindest elf that ever did live!
And then chaos and pure happiness followed for the rest of the day!
Pippi got a swirly, that she absolutely loves and has already mastered!
Dash was so fun this year, and really loved this carrot nose out of his stocking!
Navy got a framed picture of one of her original pieces of art!
And Scout got all things having to do with outside — his favorite place to be!

I say it every year, but Nonnie….you outdid yourself, and really make our Christmases so fun!
Until next year…
Our Christmas Eve day and night were so great this year. Unfortunately, my camera is going nuts, and almost every picture I have is totally blurry.
But of the few pictures that did turn out….
The first picture is of the rad couple who created the funnest Christmas Eve!
This year, we switched up Christmas Eve. Instead of drawing names, we all brought a gift and picked numbers. There was a kid exchange, and an adult one.
Let me introduce….the most coveted gift of all!
The money machine!!!
Everyone tried to get this gift!
And Scout, Navy and I were all the lucky recipients!
It was so fun…and I hate to brag, but I racked in the cash!
I was definitely the big winner of the night!
Although Dash thought he was with “Party in a box’, until Trey stole it!
It was a new and really fun way to exchange gifts.
We shall see if it carries on to next year?!?!
ANd a shout out to Nonnie who found the best PJ’s this year!
Right before we headed to the Denison’s Christmas Eve extravaganza, I made my kids sit for a picture in their cutest pajamas!
Grandma nailed it this year with these darling PJ’s.
I’m a sucker for matching kids, and a bigger sucker for Christmas matching kids!
With only two days until Christmas, it was time to get some more festivities in.
The kids made their gingerbread houses with Jon and Bella.
This year, they were selling mini houses, and I am a fan!
Same amount of creativity with half of the mess.
Meanwhile, Nonnie was making up a batch of her famous cinnamon rolls.
And the most amazing part of all?
Social-life queen Skills pitched in and hung out all afternoon!
It was definitely our pleasure!
This may be in the top five candids I have taken in my life!
Something melts my heart, when I see a big sis reading her little brother a book.
