Promises Promises

And I quote “Mom, I PROMISE that my shoes are in the car!”

Then I promised her, “Scout’s Heely won’t bother you at all while you are in school!”

Clearly both promises were a bunch of bunk.

No Fuss Baby

This girl is 5 months!
“No Fuss” might be a stretch, but this baby has become way happier and pretty smiley!
Thank goodness for the smiles!

Play By Play

Dash is obsessed with the Pips.  He kisses her every chance he gets, and insists on holding her almost every time he sees her.  It is pretty darling, and reminds me a lot of Scout with Navy at those ages.  These girls are lucky to each have an older brother that will protect and adore them.  Dash’s latest thing he does with the Pips is kind of hilarious.  He is her Play by Play Commentator.  He tells me her every move.  So this morning, it kind of went like this:
“Pippi touched my hair!”
“Pippi smiling.”
“Pippi saying cheeeese!”
“Pippi sad.”
“Pippi drinking milk.”
“Pippi burped yike dis….uuuggghhh!”
“Pippi hit me!”
“Pippi kicking her yegs!”
I’ll have to admit that he is very thorough with his commentating.  Everything I see, he sees and announces.  I am not sure I see where this helps me at the moment, but if ever I become blind….this boy will me my go-to set of eyes!

Impromptu Saturday

The Tackys often surprise us and bring over donuts Saturday morning.  This day, we talked them into staying and making a day of it.

There was biking, swimming, playing, eating, etc.

But the real party started when the Hemans joined in on the fun.

Not bad for a day of nothing planned.
Three fun families just hanging out until night fall.
