I trust yours and Micah's driving. That simply is not at issue....What is the issue you may ask? EVERYBODY ELSE ON THE ROAD! I absolutely cannot believe that you came home from Knott's in the middle of the night like that. I seriously would have killed you. Whether or not you were wearing a seat belt! On to the facts: Motor vehicle accidents are the LEADING cause of death for children and youth ages 5 to 24. The use of seat belts and child safety restraints greatly reduces the chance of fatalities and serious injuries in motor vehicle crashes. Seat belt use reduces the risk of fatal injury by 50 percent. I did have a lot more to say, but I'll get off my soapbox and just say this: If something were to happen to you, Micah, Scout, or any of your nieces and nephews because of something as simple as wearing a seatbelt, you would never forgive yourself. I am beginning to grow fond of you guys, and would hate to have to visit you in jail! Or worse, at the cemetery! But I have to say that having no seatbelt is better than having a seatbelt and almost getting in accidents all of the time! Your poor girls....hanging on for dear life at all times!
